Tarifa Underground meeting this week end . I’m going there tomoroow morning to discover the new 2011 range in exclusivity … I’ll kep you inform really soon with pictures and videos about all this stuff . I think it will be awesome and i’m pretty nervous now … i want to test it and to have it !!!!
So i’ll be in Tarifa till Monday 6th to test the 2011 gear but also to re-sign my International rider agreement for Underground Kiteboards in France . I’m really proud about that.

7th overall in European Racing championship 2010

7th overall in European Racing championship 2010 .
After 5 stops around Europe i’m finishing 7th a the overall ranking racing … I’m pretty stock . Even if i was it was so hard all this season , with my unpowerfull and smallest kites , i managed to stay motivate and to trynow and try again even when the wind was around 6-7 knots …
I’m ready now to train a lot with my New OZONE Kites, to reach te podium in 2011 .

On the road again …
Looking forward for sun and warm temperature . We ‘re going to Paris with Bruno Sroka to meet with our respectiv sponsors .
It will be a really busy short week there for me . I had to see one sponsor to sign my contract, receipt my new OZONE kites in the local dealer shop www.hawaiisurf.com, have a meeting about the 2011 products with TEN 80 ,and finally meet Manu from O’neil France to received my new O’neil gear .
Then i’m gonna fly on Thursday for Tarifa , to be part of the UNDERGROUND Kiteboards Europeean meeting

End of this rainy KTE here in Poland … 5 days of rain , cold weather , and drunk polish guys lol … Yesterday was the sumum on the each with 50 hooligans totally drunks screaming on the beach ( there was a football match in Swinjoucie). The party was also funny with figthing . i love Poland … MDr
No matter , i managed to let my directs concurents behind me on the 6 races we did .
So i’m finishing this Kite Tour Europe Racing with a 7 th place on the overall ranking . I’m happy .

What a nice country !!! I love Poland . Fuck stop joking .. It’s was one more hugly day here in Swinjoucie with dark weather , a lot of rain and a fucking gusty bad wind . What a bad feeling after almost two months traveling in Africa .
I woke up this morning with the noise of strong rain on my van and went to the beach . The freestyle was on and they finished the single élimination . Just after we went on 4 races , really funny , but really shorts… So no way for any mistakes … and i did a lot of mistakes lol … Using my race board after 2 months off was like , you know , skiing after one years off . I crashed a lot , made bad tactical choice, chosse the bad kite … to resume i was too bad. I don’t know exactly my ranking for the moment but i know that i have to do better tomorrow

This first day was a bit different than everybody expected… The forecasts seemed really good but in fact in was really bad for Kitesurfing. Offshore gusty wind ( from 0 knots to 30 knots) , rain etc …
he organisation tried to do the freestyle single elimination … they managed to do two rounds for the guys . Even if it was so hugly ( guys were really unpowered most of the time) it’s a good thing tht they managed it ,beacuase finally forecasts are not so good for next days …
Today, we’ll probably have racing … I’m crossing my finger … I’m actually 8th in overall , and i have chances to reach the 5 or 6 position in the European ranking if we run some courses …

Few days before KTE Poland . i’m back in France and i’m gonna work for my sponsors UNDERGROUND and MOOD before going there … I’ll take the road on Monday morning for Swinjouce
Here a small article about the spot
“Swinoujście is famous due to beautiful, white-sand beaches (the widest in Poland – up to 100m) and warm water (+22C). The spot works well with winds from W by N to E. The most admired direction is NE-ly during summer months enhanced by thermal wind and Gosań hill – the highest Polish cliff. When the high pressure stabilises above Scandinavia there is a chance for two weeks of NE-ly 25kts every afternoon while no wind blows anywhere else at Southern Baltic coast! This thermal wind combined with 1,3km harbour breakwater provides excellent conditions for everyone: perfect flat water and long waves (up to 4m) for frontside riding at the same spot! There is no tidal current, no tides, no shorebreak and on top of that low salt water. Some current might be running with strong W-ly gales. Ferries entering or leaving the harbour might disrupt the wind flow but they will provide magnificent background in the picture. Behind the dunes runs a new built promenade with numerous restaurants, pubs and bars.”

The event will be launch for 2 windy days between the 6th oktober and 7th november 2010 ;about 500m far from the beach will stay a big yacht called the flagship, insinde will stay the judges, photographers and spectators.
Riders will do them heats downwind of the flagship following the shedules.
Prizemoney will be 3000€, every riders whom will make a heat will receive a nice prize
Some smallers boats will be for photographers, videomakers and rescue.
The northwind has very sure forecast, everbody registrered will be “called” 3-4 days before the launch of the kitecup, please, be sure to be registrered as rider, photographers nor spectator .

Strong wind and big waves today for the PKRA waves. What a competition ‘s day !!!
I pass 2nd after Sky Solbach in the Trial , and riched the main event .At this moment the wind average was up to 50 knots !!!
For the main event it was really strong for my 6m kite when i went on the first heat against Youri ZOOn and Jean Marcos Riveras, and i didn’t managed to do well in this heat . The waves were really big at this moment, and it was impossible to stay in it because of the Side on shore wind … The otherguys were overpowered too in 5 m !!!
In the next heat i was against my team mate , Ariel Corniel . The wind was less strong, and waves really nice .But unfortunatelly i made a mistake when i went in water , and broke a fins on the reef, just before the red flag !!! Fuck . I did all theheat with 2 fins , slippered on the back on each turn . Duringthis time ariel hadone good wave and passed on next heat ..
I’m 17 th and it will be my final results in Tenerife . A bit disappointed but no matter , i will work hard for Australia or next year events..

Extreme strong wind and no waves here in El Medano … It blows up to 40 knots all day long today , and the waves didn’t manage to find thereway to the beach … Even if it’s so windy it’s really there … This windy comes direct form Africa and it ‘s so hot … It seems like a big hairdryer blowing on El Medano .
It’s not easy to sleep , so we have parties in the city .
Tomorrow same forecast … So will try to start at 9 am beforethe wind reachs 40 knots

More than 27 mens for the Wave Competition here in Tenerife … We have now to wait for wind and waves to start a trial dingle elimination ( single and double elimination in the same time)…1 guys in this trial for 12 seat in the main event.
Action is planed for Thursday … I’m with Sky Solbach and a german guy in the first heat .

We lived Zanzibar yesterday morning. we had seven days with wind, but what the fuck ??? it was really bad wind , i mean so gusty , light, many times dangerous .
We are now on a long long way by bus to Victoria Lake , for a Kitesurf attempt on the biggest lake of Africa>

Hi everybody.
Were are now since 6 days , in a small village on Zanzibar island. Living a dream in a wonderfull place. We found beds in a typical reef’s stones house, where a big familly lives . No electricity , no modern confort , cooking on fire , living all together … Where are now considered as members of the village, as “local mzungu” (local’s white)
I managed to kite almost every days even if it’s quite hard … Not because of the wind condition or whatever normal … It’s just that it’s really difficult to pump my kite because each time i’m ready to go out , a kid screams “parachuti parachuti” and the whole village is there , touching everything, jumping on my boards, trying to pump kites etc We are the first “parachuti mens” they ever seen.
Not easy for us with our small skills in swahili.

First days in Tanzania .
It’s so exciting , living the african life , here in Tanzania. People are so friendly , always smiling . Hakuna matata as they say . The wind is here and all july’s moth promise some good sessions .
i’m actually in the South of Dar es salaam , moving from village to next village, beach to next beach, with the local transport : the dalla dalla . such a kind of mini van in which as many persons as possible take place to catch it you just need to walk along the road and they stop;
Going back to Dar es Salaam tomorrow to take the ferry boat for Zanzibar and Pemba islands . Magic spots on the fist one, come back to the roots on the second one .

Back from Switzerland , where we had lot of fun playing volley ball, walking in mountains, watching football with all our friends from Netherlandsand Germany..
For the Kitesurf competition it wasn’t so fun … Wind was really difficult to catch , and weather changed every hours … In theses conditions , KTE ‘s organisation had some problems , and made some mistakes and took bad choice … For example , wah had 4 hours of wind on friday and when they finished Single elimination in frestyle , they decided to continue with the second , instead of switch to the race … Then they decided to not compete on the Saturday when winds arrived at 6 Pm !!! ? to late ?!!! Why was it possible to wake up at 5am in Netherlands to compete , and impossible to compete at 6 pm in switzerland ????
The last chance was on Sunday , but at the end of the competition, there was still no wind … Most of the riders had already packed theirs stuffs , when the organisation try to avoid the worst …They started a race under the storm at 3 o clock , one hour after the official end of the competition his day it was possibleto finish later !!? … 7 th guys finished the course . Many of others were not on the water , or did’nt manage to finish … For my part i was already in the car , on my way to Paris to take my plane for Tanzania … i finished 8th without going in water … So bad

Ok . Here i am in Switzerland to compete on this Fourth stop of the 2010 Kite Tour Europe . What a funny stop for a Kiteboarding cup … i’m really happy to go there … It’s so different … We will compete fro mFriday to Sunday on a lake , wich is at 1800 meters altitude… So crazy with the mountains covered by snow as background ..

Discard for KTE Sylt this week … I was suppose to go there , but i’m still without good Kites for light wind … My biggest kite is my unpowerfull Bandit 3 13m2. Impossible to do something if there is less than 16 knots … So when i had a look on the forecast , i decided to use my discard .

Cuba is not a “full kite trip spot ” … During the best season you could have 10 days without wind ( it was the case for me) or really light wind around 12 knots

After Texas , where i didn’t go because this fucking volcano in Iceland was in activity , i ‘m now at Vienna aéroport for a forced stay . Why because my dear friend the volcano is in activity once again . No flights for Paris from Austria and maybe for 3 days … Fuck again
KTE Podersdorf Austria Day 3

No wind today in Podersdorf . But no matter because the organisation is really awesome . I made some great events since i’m competing , but definitively this KTE Podersdorf is one of the best … Great event site, a lot of people , nice background …i’m really happy to be there .
For the moment i’m 8th in the racing event . I’m really confident for the season . It’s my first event with the UNDERGROUND racebord, i trained with it maybe 2 hours maximum before arrived here , and i ‘m already feeling it … The Upwind skills are so crazy .. Hope to be ready for next event in Netherlands
