Tarifa trip

Will leave on Friday to Tarifa for a kite trip .. Will spend there 10 days to ride and for a photoshoot for the french magasine ” kiteboarder ” … All 2012 UGD boards will be shot there to be in Issue 72 in March …

Today forecasts were good for waves so i planed to go to my favorite spot : agde … But in the morning “meteo france” started to talk about ” alerte orange ” and a strom … No matter … Went there … but fucking hell !! Arrived there , it was blowing with 56 Knots in gusts … A real West winds storm… It was difficult to stand up in the street lol …
So the waves session became an extra short speed session ,and then a lifestyle photoshoot session … Incredible

Magic Kipuna ! Conditions were not really good in Cabo Verde for the KSP … No matter … My KIPUNA allowed me some great session in onshore wind , with choppy water at Kitebeaches , like if i was on a world class spot with good conditions … This KIPUNA is definity amazing

Back from Cabo Verde after a good week of sun … Unfortunately , waves were not around as wind which was really light … KSP contest was cancelled due to unconsistancy of the swell , and even if i re runed 2 times my heat , the first one , there s no results at the end ….
I m ended at the 12th Place of this KSP 2011 , with a participation to Peru and Mauritius … let s hope will do better next year !!!

Off to Cabo Verde today to join the KSP World Tour in Santa Maria … Ponta Pretta the mythic wave is pumping so let s see what happen there .. Quite excited to go back in this place , wich was my first Kitetrip 7 or 8 years ago … Think it changed a lot , but spirit is probably still there …

The South Est month was for sure November here in Montpellier … really crazy . Since i m back from Péru it s blowing minimum 2 or 3 days a week , with some good waves conditions also … it was impossible for me to dream of better conditions for one of my longest stay in france since a while …

Winter training started for me …. Wind is on really often in Montpellier actually and waves too … I started today in add , physical training to be ready for the new 2012 season … So next month i will go to Le Cam to train with a coach when it will be unwindy …

Surfing at home could be fun … we had past week a couple of good days with strong wind from the south and also heavy rains … So after 2 days of kite, it has been 3 days at home just waiting for better days … This Week end was what we were looking for … Rain and wind stopped , to offer us a the possibility to spend 2 days in the water with nice small waves …

SOuth East Storms are here !!! Since i m back in France , wind has been just amazing ( 25 to 45 knots ) and has blown from south east , so waves are around also … Pretty fun to find that kind of conditions to welcome you home …

End of KSP Peru… It was good to be back on this spot … This long wave is just crazy … A bit disappointed to ended up at the 17th place but that s it . Really need to work on my mental . That s fucking crazy how i m loosing my mind when i m going in my heat…
Time now to go to Lima and to fly tomorrow to Paris … Then Montpellier here i come for the South Est swell best period
